Codes:

Codes available for download on Git Hub, archived with Zenodo (username cregalla). All codes are on an as-is basis. No guarantees of accuracy. May contain bugs.
  • Scarp Offset Analysis, with uncertainty: Matlab script to calculate the vertical separation, dip slip, heave, and throw from a topographic profile across a fault scarp. Uses a Monte Carlo simulation to calculate offset uncertainties based on uncertainty in the linear regressions through upthrown and downthrown surfaces, fault dip, and intersection of the fault with the ground surface. zenodo.org/records/14579783
  • Vertical Mixing Model: Matlab code for a mixing model for simulated cuttings recovered during riser drilling. doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.13733048

Field Data Archives:

  • Structural observations, sample lists, and field photos of the Leech River Fault and surrounding areas (2014-2015)
  • Sample archive for the Leech River Fault (2014-2015)
  • Sample archive for the Marin Headlands (2015)
  • Sample archive for Pacifica, Nicasio and Snow Mountain terranes (2015)

Educational Materials:

CAS Hallway Seismometer:
We* set up QR links to outreach materials on the demo seismometer in the hallway at 675 Comm ave.  Come by and take a look, or click the links below!  (*with help from the students in ES 833)
